Last April, I was at one of my favorite B&Ms when I spotted a tray of old Omas pens tucked away in one of their drawers. Most were rollerballs and pencils but a few fountain pens were present.

I picked out a gray old pattern Paragon and saw there was a bit of brassing on the clip. My dealer told me they could send it back to Italy for a clip change and a spa visit, if I didn't mind waiting a bit. Why not, I thought.

Six months later, the pen arrived. Turns out the factory had to replace the inner cap as well when they installed a new clip.

Nib is a rhodium Broad that flows wet and glides smoothly. Currently inked with Montblanc Permanent Grey.

Thanks Freddy! The ink belongs to the lady of the house and she immediately suggested it or Kiri Same. Smile
