Bought this back in the summer and haven't been able to find any info on it at all. It has a nice little boar knot. The only markings on it are what's in the pics.

Anyone have any idea what it is?

Can't help you, but it certainly is beautiful. Reminds me a little of the Kent shape, but who knows. I am also reminded of the shape of the Ford Anglia Smile

I have a few brushes that are handsome, too, made in England, but I have no idea of the manufacturer. I'd like to know, but not knowing doesn't take away their beauty. Yours being "London Made" makes it an interesting curio. I know that Simpson brushes labelled "London Made" are rare, early, and very desirable Smile

I do believe you have an early Simpson brush on hand. The labeling is very similar to my early Chubby (13) that I sold not too long ago.

Wow, then it might indeed be an early Simpson, pre-1941? That's fantastic. A very unusual shape, and yes, Simpson did make boar brushes, though for some reason rarely seen.

A great score indeed! (let me know if you want to sell it ha ha)
