According to updates for November, Joe has stated there will be about 225-250 Stealth razors for sale end of next week or Thanksgiving week and stainless steel Stealth razors sometime in December. So anybody interested keep your eye out on the RR website. You might get lucky and land one.

Do you know whether these are the final version or are they still just prototypes, thanks?

I would like to know this as well. I briefly owned one of the last batch of Stealth razors and the aluminum felt too light. I really like the looks of the stainless version, but I wanted to wait until a final production model was available.

The RR black stealth is a nice shaver but doesn't perform any better then other slants. Joe didn't mention anything else about build quality other then updating the coming release.

Has anybody compared any of the RR slants with the Shavecraft 102?

The Tradition Shaving Evangelist has -

I have to agree with what he says. They're almost identical in efficiency but the Stealth just feels infinitely smoother

my suggestion if you really want one is to bookmark the IB website and create an account with them. That way if you see the razor login and add to cart. Worked for me however, I must have grabbed the last one of the previous batchSmile

Jerry, I already have an account with Joe, but the problem is that I work throughout the day and I don't know when the razor goes on sale. By the time I get to the site, they are usually all sold! Biggrin

They usually go on sale near the weekend but of course no guarantee.

I have both the stainless model, thanks to NSmalls and the aluminum version. I also have a bakelite Italian barber and an ikon dlc slant. Both rr stealth models are amazing in all aspects and have become my go to razors and are causing contention between the rest of the razors in my rotation. Neither razor require any pressure for a smooth aggressive shave. I would say the stainless model is more comfortable to me because the aluminum is so light is hard to not apply pressure. It is very similar to the bakelite Italian barber razor. Comparing them to the ikon. ..I like the ikon, but prefer a more aggressive shave as I have very wirey fast growing whiskers, the ikon is quite a bit milder. All I can say is if you can get either whether they are prototypes or not. ..jump at the chance. If you get one and don't like it. ..I could always use backups.
