They are rare, but I would not pay $3,600 or any where close to that. In my opinion, the earlier models are far better in terms of style and construction and are reasonably priced (starting at $5) and shave just as well since the only variable injectors that were mass marketed were the Schick Dial and the PAL adjustable.

I wouldn't even pay 20 bucks for a type A or 30 bucks for L6 easy rider one(love the movie).

Gentlemen! Please remember that this is a mannerly forum. No need to call people names at the drop of a hat (or a bunch of caps, and an incorrectly-typed price).

mrrider has corrected his price, and perhaps he'll post pics of the razor in the future. Maybe other posts on here can be amended too. Smile

Honestly though, the shave from an injector is worth $3600. It makes me feel like a million bucks!!

Sorry for the virtual bachand, I've been on forums before that people would randomly attack, so I'm defensive.

Anyway, I was looking for a Schick Type O, I like the way they look. If you have pics, share them. Also, let me know how it shaves. I've tried many razors, but never an Injector and it's taking me a while to choose one.

If I'm not mistaken the type O was the last of the injectors and only sold in Japan. Yep Renaldo.us confirms it. These routinely go on eBay for quite a lot of money because they were never sold here. If you got it in a lot only paid $36, then I think you did all right. Here's a link to a pic of one.

I agree but they are probably one of if not the most rare of injectors. It looks a lot like a PAL Adjustable to me.

The Walmart Wilkies have to be one of the biggest YMMV blades ever. I get a great shave with them when I'm pressed for time.

I think thats why we all buy them Mrraider. I've always wondered how an O shaved versus my favorites, an E or a G or an adjustable. Pop a blade in there and give it a shot.

I've been good with sticking to one razor because I've never used a better one. That doesn't stop me from trying razors I find in antique stores, but it certainly stopped me from buying new razors.

mrraider -

To post pics you need to upload them to an image hosting site like Photobucket. Then you choose the 'IMG code' option and paste that into your post. The pics will show up in the post.

I really wish we had more members located in Japan so we can get our hands on these more rare types. I'm sure there are a fair amount of O types floating around over there, not to mention some older Feather DE's.
