Hi From Canada,
Hi, I am new here but have been shaving with a brush and safety blades for about a year and a half. My go to blade is Rapira stainless and Shark super chrome. I also use Royal -Israeli Personna stainless, and Lord –Platinum. It’s all in what ever mood that I am in. I also shave my head and use my safety razor so my blades get a work out. I like all the blades above as I have 5 different vintage razor handles.
I don’t care at all for Feather Blades and Merkur super platinum is nice but not for the price. I get just as good of a shave with the above blades and a fraction of the cost. Am I the only one who feels that way about Feather and Merkur Blades. My friends takes pride in the fact that he uses Feather Blades and thinks I am to cheap to buy good blades. BiggrinThat is a on going joke that we have. But I have to ask; What do you guys feel about this issue? High price blades better then low price blades? Thanks for having me be part of this forum.

You will probably get better responses to you blade question if you post it in the Blade Section.

Welcome to The Shave Nook and enjoy your stay. Smile

As for your blade question, the best blades are whatever work for the individual and price has nothing to do with that. Thumbsup

Neutrogena Men Facial Wash

Super Speed/7 AM day 2
Godrej Menthol Mist SC
Gold Bond Moisturizer
Osage Rub AS

These days I'm using stuff which I've neglected for a while so I can finish them off to make some room for new purchases in the future. The Godrej Menthol Mist is one of the finest creams out of India - so easy to lather with a powerful menthol effect which lingers after a cold water rinse. This cream also gives awesome blade glide which makes it so easy to get a great shave. The Gold Bond moisturizer felt so nice and cool afterwards, and two good slaps of the Rubby Dubby Doo made the end of this wonderful shave feel heavenly.
