Been there, done that. Some suggestions.

Prep as normal. Wash face, soak beard, and apply a good lather. In order to do this you will need a good wet/dry electric razor. Best I found was expensive but worked well, a Panasonic 5 Blade Electric Razor.

Wow! Best of luck, sir!

No way you can just let the beard grow, for now? Biggrin

Norelco or just stop for a while. Embrace the simplicity!

Best of luck on your recovery.
All is not lost; I use my Braun 2-3 times per week on the way to work. You'll appreciate it that much more when you can shave properly again!

Right now, if it were me, I'd be bearded. Never knew a comfortable or clean shave until I ditched electric and cartridges. I couldn't go back now.

Good luck on the recovery. I am surprised on an electric with all of the blade movements over say a Feather d2? But that is us thinking what a 'mild' shave is...

My barber occasionally whips out a Wahl 5 star electric razor. It works surprisingly well and it is fairly inexpensive relatively speaking.

OK.... I'm back in the Saddle. I now have a Goatee... and have been using my mild razors.. or one of the adjustable razors on 1 or 2. The Norelco was..... OK, but it's nice to get a decent shave again.... and the Chin-whiskers are quite gray.... last time I had one it was dark brown. O-Well. Biggrin
