Hi all,

I would like to sell this Martin de Candre soap.
From what you can see, this is the top portion from Bol en Bois, as a result of a trade. The container is full, with 96gr of soap.
I personally put it in a Jabonman (Manuel) container and customized it.

I'm from Portugal, so the price reflects the shipping costs.
was $45, now $40 (shipping included) -- Paypal only
SOLD

Perhaps you should specify how many grams is in your container. Although I know "Bol en Bois" means "wooden bowl" in French, and MDC is also sold in a wooden bowl ("230 grammes de pâte de savon à raser l’Original"), what exactly do you mean by "the top portion"?

The Bol en Bois is, in fact, a wooden shave bowl. The bowl is grossly overfilled with shaving soap.Bol en Bois

I purchased a Bol en Bois and, using a sharp knife, I sliced off all the MdC soap that protruded over the edge of the bowl and placed it in a "standard" MdC 200g glass container. After I pressed the MdC firmly into the glass container, the container appeared to be almost as full as it had been when purchased new. I did not weigh the glass container before or after, but I'm sure that there was more than 150g in the glass.

Rui, it would be more accurate if you weighed just the tub, and subtracted it to the total weight. Do you have one of Manuel's empty tubs? I think I have one laying around somewhere.

Much better. Even if the container weighs around 36g, that's still at least 100g (a half a large jar) or more of the "l’Original". Good luck with your sale!

PS - it's a much better deal than the small jar, which is only 50g for about the same price (about $40 shipped).

The bottom half of Manuel's tub weighs exactly 40grs, so there are 96gr of soap there, almost half of a large glass jar.

Please update the OP with that information, Rui. Wink
