I have tried a number of Rose soaps (TOBS, WSP to name a couple) get a burning/tingling sensation. This is to the point that the soaps are uncomfortable to use. Since I love Manuel's Jabonman soaps, I want to see if anyone has experience with his Rose soap? I am wanting to find a Rose that works for me....

Also, has anyone tried the Honeysuckle? Sounds interesting.

Thanks,
Ed

Manuel's Rosas is an excellent soap and scent. It is a deeper bodied rose to say that of Trumper's, and pretty natural. I have never had any burning issues using it, but then I have never experienced burning with any rose soap.

I had the honeysuckle but sold it on. I like floral scents but this came across a bit too sickly for my liking. Only my opinion, though.

I agree with David on the Rosas, very nice, and if you like it, I highly recommend Manuel's Rosas after shave balm. His balms are simply incredible.

I would also look at Wickham English Rose, all of Darron's soaps are top shelf and this rose scent is quite nice.

I don't care for rose scented soaps in general but Jabonman's Rose was easily the most pleasant and non offensive rose soap I've ever tried. In other words, it would be very hard to dislike Manuel's Rose offering. Smile

Tried a sample of Rosas and it's definitely the most authentic rose scent. Much better than GFT and T&H. If it's the rose EO that's irritating your skin then there's not much you can do though.

You may want to try Beer Soap Brewing Company to see if you can get a custom rose soap. I tried a sample of his rose and it's the only one I'd use. It was a masculine take on rose.

That beer brewing sounds interesting. I've heard great things about Jabonmans Rose! Fitjars Frost Rose is great but discontinued sadly

Thanks for the updates. I believe I will order the Roses and most likely the Honeysuckle for something different.

As an update, Jabonman soaps are the only soaps currently in my rotation. I have Mountain, Wet Earth, Eastern Breeze, and Claro/Cedar/Laurel. For me, Jabonman continues to be the best of the best. Manuel's soaps are most satisfying.Tongue

+1

A while ago - I was fortunate enough to get a sample of Jabonman Rosas from Ravi and liked it very much. I have to be quite careful with frags due to skin sensitivity - but Jabonman did not give me any trouble.

Another rose soap to consider is Soap Commander Love. Very natural rose scent. Subtle. Not overpowering. Great lather. It has quickly become one of my favorite soaps.

I have some rose soaps here, the old Trumper, Klar Kabinett...
And I had the cream of TOBS. But the best I've ever tried, are the LE of LPL and the JabonMan Rosas.
I never had problems with the soaps of Manuel. There are very pleasant to the skin and of course, the performance is outstanding.
