Chaps

I came across this almost empty Gillette case:

I can't find a match, however, Mr Razor comes close with this:

Note the different script between Mr Razor's and mine. Otherwise fairly close.

Now, I also have a New, one which I couldn't trace exactly. It's a Canadian head, but seems to be matched with a Canadian Regent handle: This is a set I had replated in nickel (it needed it):

So, I put them all together, seeing as they all come from the 1933/34 period, and it all fits very snugly together indeed:

Now then, I am a bit of a purist, and others are even more so.

My question is: have I committed a travesty here, or do I meet the approval of Nook members? Smile

The set and case surely looks fine to me as long as you enjoy it is what is most important! Smile

Very nice Canadian Regent set. It seems to fit rather well in that case ...

The razor looks at home in there Smile
Idea Originally it would most likely have a NEW raised flat center razor with a ball end handle, some have a hollow ball.

The Techs did come in cases like this yes, but usually in the dark blue. It's not exclusively a Tech case though. See the link in my first post in this thread.

Mr. Razor recently updated his description for this razor. He has a very similar Canadian NEW Regent razor:

I have the Regent handle, but the base plate I have has quite different stamping. Mine appears to be a base plate from:
