Darron of Wickham soap company crafted a brand new formulation of shave soap specifically for HuntLee called Master Lather. This shaving soap is a veggie-based soap with excellent performance and post shave skin care qualities. There are currently Three bold new scents with a 4th scent on the way. The following have just been added to BullGoose Shaving Supplies.

No WAY! I've got a tester of Master Lather (lavender & mint) in my stash from last year's testing and it's freakin' amazing.
Well done Phil & Darron.
If it's anything like my old tester pot this stuff is going to fly off the shelves.

With a name like Master Lather...I think this preview needs a lather shot. The packaging looks much improved, but I'm on the fence with the pricepoint for a non-tallow soap. It sounds like it could be a winner. Great job guys.

MDC is non-tallow too...just sayin'. Biggrin

While I do not mean to make any comparisons, I used the Patchouli & Pepper soap this morning and am very impressed with the performance. The lather is incredibly slick...perhaps slicker than any soap that I have used. These new scents are also much stronger than the scents of Super Smooth.

IMO, presence or absence of tallow has no bearing on the ultimate quality and/or price of a shaving soap.

I agree. I have favorites that contain tallow and others that don't and their prices vary.

I shaved with Darron's Master Lather his morning, using a sample of Sheridan's from a testing period in the summer. He may have tweaked the formula for this release, but it is definitely good soap. A good complement to Super Smooth.

He has tweaked it slightly than what we were testing. He claims it's better now which I find impossible since it was perfect to begin with! Biggrin

So will these be a main stay or a limited release?
