I only have Pepperilla and Vetiver de Haiti, but both are excellent. It is a very tough call between the two, but right now I think Vetiver de Haiti might be out front by a little. There are a bunch more that I'd love to try.

Tierra Humeda from the tub and even while lathering smells completely different after it dries down on your skin. I thought it would be my favorite Jabonman but Mountain is getting close. Both are love/hate scents. Either way they won't be boring.

Chris,

I have a tub of Pepperilla on the way via trade...gave up a couple of tubs of Tiki. Jabonman continues to be my favorite.

Also, I asked Manuel if he has plans to make some Sierra anytime soon. His answer was yes.....however, he is tweaking the scent a little. I want to get on the waiting list, if possible.

Ed

I suspect you'll love it. It's a marvelous scent (and I'm not one for flowery type scents).

I don't understand, why he makes some soaps without lanolin, are some people allergic to it?

What are peoples opinions of the performance of both formulations? I have stellar results with the lanolin formula and the vegan formula didn't give me satisfactory lather or post shave.

I have decided to keep 3 scents, all with the lanolin and shea butter formula.

The ones I kept are the Lima/Incienso, Oriente de Brisa and Citricos.

I plan on ordering the Violettas next for sure!

+1...I'm intrigued by this one, and it is definitely going on my next order with Manuel. Now if I can only figure out what other scent I want ...

Violettas smells like candy, super sweet in my opinion. What ones have you tried, forgive me if you mentioned earlier in the thread.

Forgive me if I butcher the names, but I have tried the Ylang-Ylang Patchouly, Eastern Breeze, Vetiver-Citrus and I currently have Wet Earth, Vetiver de Haiti, and Mountain Smile

I'm very curious about these soaps, and tierra humeda in particular. But the scent descriptions have been so varied, I think someone described the scent as similar to peanut butter, which I don't think I would enjoy.
