I'm in. Don't have a silvertip, but would love one.
Elvis' rendition of White Christmas.
Christmas just isn't right without Elvis.

Awesome PIF! I'm in

My 2 year old little girl makes me smile. No matter how bad my day she always makes none of it matter and lifts me right back up. Seeing her face when I placed the lights on the house and tree was just pure joy!

Thanks for the chance!

Loving and remembering Christ with my family. This is the best time of the year. My daughter being born on Christmas eve is the extra, EXTRA plus!

I was in Trader Joe's this morning; miserable cold, post rain weather and grouchy people. The mother ahead of me was being short with her little boy's repeated question 'what kind of airplane is on the sack?' I told him. 'That is a Sopwith Tabloid, and two attacked a german airbase and destroyed a Zeppelin in 1914 with only 40 lb bombs.'What's a Zeppelin?'
His mother cut me off. 'I don't want to encourage his interest in such things. We only teach him nice history.'
So, I started retelling the story about the unauthorized Christmas truces between German and British troops that came close to stopping the war 100 years ago this holiday. The lady was only to happy to grab her organic kale et al and flee.
My tango partner looked at me in amazement. 'Chris, I never heard of that.' A voice from behind, unseen spoke up in a unmistakeable East London accent. 'My grandfather was there and retold the story every Christmas until he passed.' She was half crying, said thankyou and I left.
Manager stops me at the desk. " Chris, write down the name of that plane again. Everybody thought it was just a cartoon.

Christmas mostly means I get to see my sister, my best friend... I miss her all the time, and usually we only manage to visit once a year. Big smiles from that.

I am in. Great PIF, thank you.

In my childhood I used to get a gift with tangerines and candies, the fresh aroma of evergreen.

Thanks, Kristin.

It was a joy to see my six-year-old son on Santa's lap at Macy's this past weekend. He still believes.

Fine anecdote, nicely told.

I love everything about the holidays but I think my favorite thing is watching my wife and daughters open their gifts on Xmas morning.

Excellent PIF! I'm in.

I love to see kids out making snowmen and snow angels with big smiles. Sadly, it may also be one of the few days that families here in the US still sit down to eat together...........

International included too, that makes me smile.

I remember inviting all my friends and their kids to our house for New Years Eve. I heated the pool and all the kids went swimming at midnight in the snow.
