While I was having the Goose Coated I threw this one into the mix as well.

It turned out great!

Thanks John -- you figure a team that builds some of the best custom rifles in the country, drones, and weapons for military contracts should be able to coat a razor pretty well ?

How do you make Teflon stick to the razor? ;-)

Iron Ridge Gunsmiths Longmont, Co -- ask for Oliver --- a quick Google search will yield phone number.

One question for the forum. How reliable is the coating with consistent water exposure. Are the suppose last a long time ?

I have had other razors that are coated in Teflon, DLC and black chrome and none of them showed signs of wear or water spotting if maintained properly, cleaned and dried after each use.

What does it cost to get one coated? And do they do anything other than black?

$35 - $45 per razor depending on how many you do at a time .... Not sure on other colors.

Sorry, Jason! However, now you have a great collection and they photograph so very well! Biggrin

The Cerakote Graphite Black coating I have on my UFO stainless steel handle is extremely durable, except unless when you let it fall onto rocks and pavement when you are trying to photograph it! Biggrin

Is there any reason to prefer Teflon vs. Cerakote? Or is it just a matter of how well it's applied, or what your local gun shop will do (or some such consideration)?
