Brutalt Bra Barbersape is an artisan shave soap from Norway that is high performing and consists of only 4 simple ingredients. It produces a rich and slick lather and is faintly scented (from essential oils).

The tins arrived slightly dented so I have reduced the price from the MSRP of $28.00 to $22.00.

Laughing1 allow me to giggle a bit at that name, which means in norwegian 'brutally good shaving soap', but in english i easily read 'brutal bra (!) barbers ape' Biggrin

since it's easily available in my neighborhood i'll try a tub next time i pass by my favorite shaving shop in oslo Smile

the norwegian site barbershop.no says:
'bergums soapmakers is making a handmade shaving soap with unique formula. the soapboiler being an old chemist and developed this shaving soap empirically during several years. very economically in use.'

yeah, something like that.

Finally! Something I can play Grieg to in the morning.I think the dented cans should be marketed as 'tested to remain closed
by berserkers at the soapworks'.

The dents add character. Maybe dented by barber apes in brutal bras! Tonsorius - I appreciate you adding additional chuckles to an already joyous Christmas Day.

What's the consistency of this? Croap? Looks slightly similar to Wickham's, from what I can gather?

[Yeah, I know, I should probably have been able to respond to this myself, given that this is one of very few soaps produced in Norway. Fitjar soap closed shop last year, I know only of one other small-scale artisan producer. Will try it out, I promise!]

I have this wonderful soap and I really love it. The scent is a mild lavender-type and its lather is so rich. Good, comfortable post-shave feeling also.
