It's become quite a relaxing habit for me, an expensive one too! Tongue

I usually rotate my choice of scotch between Glenlivet 18, and Lagvulin 16

So who else does the same, and what scotch do you prefer?

Can't say thats ever crossed my mind. Coffee for me in the morning. Nothing wrong with a good glass of scotch, but I prefer it in the evening, after dinner.

I'm an Irish Whiskey drinker but your idea is a good one. This is the kind of "rotation" I could get into. Biggrin

On weekends I might enjoy the Southern version - bourbon - with an evening shave. Otherwise, I'd be drinking on the job. Rolleyes

There's no way I could drink and shave. I'm bad enough at shaving on my own with out the help of Mr. Daniels, Mr Jameson, or Mr. Yuengling. Now Dr.Pepper might be fine.

Uh...I shave in the morning.
But, if it helps, I'll try it.

Scotch in the AM mixed with a little lather from my upper lip??? ... I'll pass. Plus I am a southern boy raised on Mountain Dew and Sundrop Golden Cola from the womb. I even forsake coffee for that golden elixir in the morning

I am a morning shaver and my shave starts at little after 6am each day so it's water or OJ at that time for me.

I drink 2 cups of coffee before my morning shave. It's like having that Fusion Proglide motor built into your hand for more efficient shaving...or so I've heard. Next time I shave at night I may try a gin and tonic while shaving.

Finally! Someone who's on the same page Wink.

I shave in the evenings when I get home from work, the shave is substantial enough that I don't show a shadow till I get home the next day.

Since most of you shave in the A.M, what scotch do you prefer in the evening?

I'm pretty sure most folks knew that and were just having some fun.

OK, so I should have built liquor storage into the new shave cabinet? Good Grief! Another AD.

If I was an evening shaver, I still don't think I'd want to be that relaxed. Every once in a while I'm shaving in the AM having had a bad ice cube the night before. That's what the milder razors are for if you get my meaning.

I shave in the mornings, so no drinking for me during the shave.

I'd prefer a glass of brandy over Scotch, but if it had to be Scotch, then Talisker or Ardbeg would be my choice. Smile

Maybe Phil should start selling Scotch too. Biggrin

Not a good idea in my case (I used to shake too much in the morning when I'd been drinking). Think I'll stick with coffee! Smile

Another evening shaver here.[Image: _wave_by_sml_e.gif]

During the summer months I'll generally have a mixed vodka tonic..., during the winter I'll have a 'neat' Scotch or Bourbon.

Brands are as varied as my shave soaps and creams.

Some days my face looks like I had a few benders, but believe me I'm sober as a judge.
