William Hone Wrote:A good lather is half the shave.

William Hone (3 June 1780 – 8 November 1842) was an English writer, satirist and bookseller - and clearly a dedicated shaver.

I shave with straights and find this to be so true but I'm also finding that all aspects of the shave progression are very important,ie skillset, patience, mindset and expectations.
