*** SOLD ***

Gentlemen,
After much deliberation, and despite superb shaves, I must part with my Tradere. I used the razor for a week, with a variety of handles, a variety of blades, and loved the shaves. My banged up hands, however, bore the brunt from the razor's overall weight.
There is little else to say about this superb razor, but it does not fit me because of my hands.
The price is $110 shipped shipped in the U.S. Overseas is extra. Paypal is fine. Thanks.

Tempting, tempting, tempting - despite blowing several months worth of my self imposed budget - and I realize it must be with a very heavy heart you give up on this beauty.

While I ruminate, will the price cover shipping over here as well?

Hello Hans,
Yes, it saddens me to say farewell to the Tradere, because it is such a superb shaver and quality razor, but my realities are there. I had about 25 magnificent heavy Sheffield straight razor with which I had to part because of their heavy weight on my hands. Oh, well, life goes on. The complimentary shipping is in the U.S. Overseas would be extra, sorry.

I was expecting that - you have a guesstimate for how much that would be to ship to Norway? Usually when we receive packages from my in-laws they use priority boxes, which may give you a place to start.

Hans,
I have sent other razors overseas. This Tradere, since it comes in its original box, will be a bit heavier. I assume the shipping charges will be somewhere in the $10 to $12 range, but I am just guessing.

So if I'm guesstimating a total of 125USD I won't be far off... I has to ponder Undecided

Even at a total of $125 it's a bargain.

John, I agree. It is a great razor and worth the $125 shipped overseas. The shaves from this razor are incredible, but it does require a change in technique. I had no trouble with that, since I had owned a Pils and that, technically, the two razors have to be held almost the same way.

The Tradere shaves much like the heavy grind Sheffield straight razors, for which one must keep the angle shallow in compared to shaving with the full hollow straights.

Stay well.

Hans, I would assume that would be the general neighborhood. It's still a bargain for a superb razor.

Gentlemen,
The Tradere is gone. Thank you.

Thanks, my friend. I am sorry to see it go, too. But realities are realities for me. My hands, especially the thumbs, can't handle the heavier razors. I remember I had to let go of my Edwin Jagger "Chatsworth" barley because of its size and weight. Also the Edwin Jagger Bulbous, another big and heavy razor. There have been others. Oh well . . .

So having pondered and slept on it.. I find I'm too late. Well... drat. That'll teach me to think before buying razors next time Tongue

I wish the razor had worked out for you Obie, but sometimes we just have to play the hand we're given... oh, bad pun there... at least it'll go to someone who will value it.
