Hi Shave Nook. I recognize a few familiar names here from other groups in Shavedom. I have been wet shaving for about 3 years. My SAD is bad, as I have used over 150 different shave soaps. Most of my SOTD will include my Plisson synthetic brush and either my Mongoose, RazoRock Stealth Slant, or Gillette Black Beauty birth razor. Happy shaving to all.

Phil

Thanks for the welcome. Believe me, you are better off not having tried so many. It was dumb of me to have so mny soaps that early in my wet shaving experience (or anytime, really). Plus, most of them were not enjoyable soaps for me. The one good thing is it helped me dial in on what types ans scents I tend to like. My "batting average" with selecting soaps I like has gone up tremendously.

I now limit myself to 25 soaps (still a ridiculous amount, I know). So, I have to finish or sell soaps to acquire new ones.
Having 2 soaps at a time is enough. I just really enjoy taking a mundane daily chore like shaving and making it really fresh and new every day through the variety of soaps, brushes, razors, aftershaves, and colognes.

Glad to have found you on here, then. Congrats on avoiding the time drain that is Facebook :-)
