The inspiration for the Shavecraft 102 isn't it? They had the basics figured out long ago.

I'm not sure but like other German Vintage razors it is zinc alloy I guess. But It doesn't feel cheap and light weight.

I sold one of the a few years back on B&B, and if memory serves the head was plated Zamac, the handle a hollow chromed metal.

I have one of these razors and it is a touch more aggressive/efficient than the Shavecraft 102. As with all of my vintage German razors I thoroughly rinse with hot water and then towel dry after every use to prevent the plating/ base metal from deteriorating. If you like the 102 but wish you could get a closer shave, then snatch up one of these Mulcutos.

I don't believe they do, Mike. If you look at the vertical protrusions/markings on the end of the top and bottom plate of the razor head, the head slants in one direction only and the photos are showing both ends of the razor head.

I was looking at the top photo.. makes sense now. The slant peaks at the center of the top cap and the two specimens are flipped over.. It was late when I wrote that and I was seeing some optical illusion..
