D2 in Best.
Very well made, good weight. Wonderfully soft, with no scritch or even a hint of pokiness. The perfect amount of backbone. Would love about 1/4" more length to the handle, but it is not uncomfortable to use as is.

Those are very nice brushes. I know you will enjoy it once it is broken in good.

Thanks, Johnny. It is perfect right now, lol. If it gets better I am truly in for a treat.
I was uncertain about "Best", as I wanted to experience the softness that everyone talks about in regard to badger brushes. But I read a lot about Simpson in particular, and the consensus everywhere was that in many cases Simpson's Best is a step above what many manufacturers choose as their "Best" grade.
They did not disappoint.

Congratulations, Mike.

The current Simpson Best is quite exceptional.
