Okay I am in UK and ordering US staff is tricky

If you could recommend me only one soap, which it would be?

What counts:

Moisturising properties mostly and need to protect skin well.

cheers

Hi, Jack.

I'll send a PM shortly regarding buying from the USA, but within the UK, you would be hard pressed to beat MWF for the qualities you are specifying.

+1 on MWF.

If you really want an American soap... I'd say Mikes, but I haven't tried B&M which seems to be highly regarded.

Probably Cold River Soap Works Select Soaps (love Bergamot and Bay).

Mystic Water and Mike's are right there too though.

Soap Commander is availible from ... um.... some vendor in the UK, I forget which one at the moment. Moisturizes a lot and smells nice too. MWF is a classic, but it's got a rep for being hard to lather (I found that once you'd given it some attention it gladly gave you great lather, but then I neglected it and let it soak overnight by accident and now I've got some kind of weird MWF-mush in the bowl..)

Jack, right there in jolly old England, Czech & Speake. Either the No.88 or the Oxford & Cambridge. Either meets all your requirements. Two of my favorite soaps.

Chris has a distributor in the UK. Idk the name of the vendor, but I'm sure he'd be more than happy to advise you.

I have not tried it, but there is an artisan soap from the U.K., Wickham, which has been reviewed favorably several places. Mention it because it is in the U.K.

Not sure if this is helpful to you but we (Cold River Soap Works) are carried and sold by the Shaving Station UK.

Good luck and I hope you find what you are looking for!

Shavingtime is a UK distributor that carries several US made artisan soaps; Tiki & Caties Bubbles are two they stock.
