Another Christmas and still no Stratocaster under the tree. Oh, well, there's always this . . .

That first Strat on that site is really good looking!

Nice video Ron! I remember watching this back in the day with my pops, (RIP).

The tone from Creston guitars is amazing. Fender-who?

I would be content knowing how to play only two guitar riffs: Hiatt's song (the more sedate studio version, not the grungy metal stuff on the video), and Keith Richards' "Gimme Shelter." Together they cover most of the important notes in the bad-ass songbook.

Heh, good selection.

I really would love to learn the guitar. My father in-law is wonderful at it!

I'd like to learn Audioslave's Shadow of the Sun, and anything by Hendrix!

The guitar in the video is a Gretsch. The favorite of Chet Atkins.

My wife gave me a Gibson Les Paul for our 25 wedding anniversary. I took lessons and learned a lot. It's a lot of fun and takes practice.

I have a 1960 6125 Gretsch that was my Grandfather's.

My Grandfather was a musician in his earlier years and my Grandmother played the piano quite a bit. The only thing I ever did was put my foot through the bass drum, sadly.

here's a couple photos of the guitar:

Sometimes you have put your own Stratocaster under the tree. Just sayin'.

Hendrix does it for me too, Bryan.

thanks.

I started to learn how to play the guitar, then work got in the way and prohibited me from keeping up with my guitar lesson commitments.

I love playing guitar. I've been playing for about 25 years now, and have a modest collection.
