Guys,
Today, I shaved with Gillette platinum received as a sample. My ATT H1 plate never felt so smooth. Very smooth and close shave.Amazing experience . I read little bit about these blades and found out that polsilver super iridium and gillette platinium are made in the same factory In Russia. Do anyone have both and can compare two?

I am planning to get more as razorbladeandmore.com carry 100 count for $35

I have never seen those before...they remind me of Gillette Silver Blues. Where did you get them?

You also bring up an interesting thought however, because I have often confused my GSBs and Polsilver tucks, as I'll have some stacked on the top shelf of my medicine cabinet for use and I only see the part on the side the says "5 Blades." They look identical from that aspect. I have never made the connection before and never did a direct comparison between them, although I always had in my mind they shave differently Confused

I made a trade and they came with it. I researched and found out that razorbladeandmore.com carry this version.
You are right packaging is similar to silver blue. They are same cost as super iridium $35/100 count.
I am a feather guy but never done left side XTG with feather and H1 plate comfortably .
Today XTG wasn't a problem and the blades are sharp and smooth.

Both are very smooth blades for me, I'd say the Super Iridiums are a little sharper.

I find the original Super Iridium to be a smoother blade and didn't enjoy the Polsilver Super Iridium and the Gillette Platinum, at all. Good to hear you enjoyed these blades and good luck with the Polsilver SIs.

Original Super iradium are hard to get in large quantities. I found some at italian barber but in small packs and expensive .

They both work for me, maybe a little preference for the Platinum. Got mine on a trip to Europe

Love the St Pete GP'S. AoS usually sells them at their brick and mortars for. $4 a pack. Yikes!

The platinum's are great blades and edge out the Polsilver's (IMHO) for both comfort and sharpness.

I picked up a tuck of the GPs at Pasteur for $1.49 (at the lower end of the blade prices there). I look forward to trying them -- after Silver Blues!

Polsilver SIs are (so far) the best I've tried, especially in terms of longevity.

One of my serendipity friendships is with Yasha Tselikosvskya.
She was a university student from Beslan, lost a family member in the attack. I was more affluent then and sent via western union airfare so she could get home (and she repaid it in full later).
Yasha's fiancee' worked for the company that owns the production line for Super Iridiums when they dried up.
I learned, with little detail they would be back. And they are, as Polsilvers. Russian blade distributorship and branding is like those Matrushka dolls with ever smaller
duplicates inside one another.
All I know is that Russian blades are at worst very serviceable to outstanding.

I've pick up Gillette Platinum (maybe NOS, white plastic, blue cardboard, København, Stockholm) in Denmark for about $1.90 per blade. Lovely but costly blade. I thought Polsilvers sounded expensive ($20/100), but y'all are tempting me to compare them.

The production of Wizamet Iridium Super blades didn't dry up, currently can be found Wizamet Iridium Super blades, but each blade is wrapped with single wax paper wrapped.
