Grooming Company synthetic brush. It's like a kid returning for Christmas break with a green Mohawk and chrome studded black leather jacket. But it is polite among it's ivory coloured family members and displays different, but excellent shaving manners.

I don't have one but surely the Mongoose has to be the most memorable! It seems every other thread is about it.

I too don't have one, but the Mongoose does seem to be the homerun of this last year. Can't wait to get aid of one in the future.

I've only shaved with it a couple of times, and I hate to issue an opinion so soon, but I'm really inclined to say the Mongoose.

Year of the Brush for me:
1. Thater 4292 2-band series: terrific quality and feel.
2. Grooming Co. synthetic: great latherer, desperately in need of a custom handle.
3. My Grosvenors.
