Could that knot be a Plisson? From the apparent shape (and size) it looks a bit like it.

I'd like to know. She didn't say. I intend to ask.

I have a small collection of old engravings and ads, and I'm usually pretty good at finding stuff like this, but this one has eluded me so far.
