I think German sums it up very nicely. My experience is very very good. Two shaves in two days and very happy. I found tad bit softer than Lee current finest. YMMV kind of thing

Super soft tips , Excellent flow through and backbone. Highly recommend latest "white badger"

The handle quality is very nice too. Very well
Built.

This one is a keeper

I hope that helps

I should have one coming in from Gustavo soon...I am interested to do a comparison as well, but I'm sure Mustafa's description is right on. It is hard for me to imagine softer tips than this Wiborg (and I have two Thäters). This is an incredibly good knot and I am very seriously considering ordering another Smile

The Thäter comparison was going to be my next question. Wink So softer then Thäter? I'm even more curious now.

I have 1 Thater, a 3 Band, and I wouldn't say the Wiborg White Flagon I have is any softer. When I first got the Wiborg I get them both a run side by side and honestly I don't feel any difference in softness. The difference I DID feel is that the Thater I have has hair that clumps together more than the Wiborg and the Wiborg has more backbone with it's shorter loft. Both are 26mm knots in my case. So I'd say the softness is a tie, but the Wiborg is more dense and scrubby while my Thater is less dense but has better flow-through.

I'm definitely interested in one of these but not much of a choice remains inhis current inventory. Hopefully he'll be getting more in stock soon.
Any comments on fan vs bulb?

I can say overall I'm more than interested now.. size wise how big is the Knight style handle as it resembles a M7 to me, but much larger if your knot is clocking in at 28mm.

@ Giorgio, the Vase handle shape is one looker of a handle! Hope you enjoy it!

Ergonomics of knight handle is amazing . It feel so great . The bottom half of the handle has great grip contour.

Thanks for the feedback, looking at it in the picture alone you really don't see it as its so angular. Hmmmm.... I see a White badger in my collection soon

The brushes look great, but the name "White Badger" seems to be another ploy of a manufacturer trying to reinvent an existing product.

I suppose that's not a bad thing...just look at how many variations of Monopoly there are...in the end it is still the same game, no matter what "Park Place" is called...(I'm a Monopoly collector, so pardon the comparison...)

Here some pics of my "white badger". This, as mentioned before, is just another name game for a bleached 2 band brush (most if not all of all of them are bleached). Nevertheless, the properties of this knot are excellent: VERY soft tipped, with adequate backbone and medium density.

As mentioned before the knot construction is equally important. The fans are excellent with just the right level of density and backbone - for me. Interested to hear of a bulb shaped one.

I ordered the "Basket" (Barrel, Rover etc) off the web page (no other was left and I wanted to try the knot). Later I asked for another brush IF Florian had the same batch of hair on hand.

I had previously a 2 Band Finest Wiborg that I sold quickly. The knot was too dense and scratchy for my liking. This time the knot is perfect and rivals my shavemacs and M&F 2 Bands. Thäter and Simpson are still a class of its own. However this one is close.

Very nice brushes, G. I see the gold engraving on both brushes is already coming out. Did it start to fade quickly?

Actually, it came that way. Gives it a "rustic" touch. No complaint on my end.

Still, a brush at this price range should never be sold with such poor engraving, IMO - I'd have sent it back in a heartbeat. The brushes on the website all seem superbly finished, though... Here's hoping they're all coming out that way.

Mine is beautifully finished . I doubt that it came this way unless German asked for rustic appearance. Hard to believe it came this way

Couldn't resist any longer. I sent Florian an email, he promptly responded and I have a brush on order. Barber style in faux briar with a fan shaped 26mm White Badger knot. He estimated about 5 weeks for production so with shipping time it's going to take a couple of months.

Congrats! I am very seriously considering ordering another as this knot is quickly becoming one of my favorites.

Florian ships pretty fast...I believe mine arrived in a little over a week Biggrin
