I did submit the contact form asking to be added to the waitlist.  Any better methods?

That would be the best way I would say. I imagine he's swamped, but when he was doing well he was quick to respond to me. Maybe 3 days, which I was expecting about a week with how busy I heard he was then. This was before I heard of him getting sick and back in 2014, or 2015 maybe. Can't remember the exact time.

I tried the customer contact form about 18 months ago.  No response.  Guessing I should try email directly?

I was under the impression that Wilborg stopped making brushes. Definite wish list item for me.

Good news, folks. Obviously Florian Arnold still makes brushes. Delivered today, “The Jewel“, 28mm white badger, faux tortoiseshell.
Heavy, the hair feels even better than my older Wiborgs.
Bottom engraving wasn’t perfectly centered.
No, I didn’t send it backSmile

Probably not a very popular comment: these are decent knots in decent handles. Nothing more. Nothing worth spending $400+ in after market trades...
They are scarce right now but not of superior quality. And yes: I owned 3 amongst the other 200 brushes I owned.

They are pretty decent.

While I wouldn’t pay 400+ for one of them, I don’t intend to sell one for such a price, neither.

950 $ ?

This is getting ridiculous.
Same with say, Wolfman razors.
Ridiculous.

Definitely not worth 400+. The only brush deserving of that status for me is Rooney Finest. No regrets parting with mine in a trade for a large Rooney Finest with a few other brushes.

First impressions:
My older Wiborg white badger brushes felt stiffer, I think they have more backbone. I’ll have to use one of my other Wiborgs to confirm this first impression.
Very soft feeling brush. While it is a whopping 28mm, flow through was pretty good.
This is a big brush, but felt comfortable in my hands.
I think I prefer the ergonomics of Wiborg’s The Vase or The Barber handles.

Still not a bad brushSmile

I expressed my delight that Florian Arnold still does make brushes.
Tester28, I just read your recent comments at b&b.
I do not know whether this is one of the last made nor do I have any information about this gentleman’s health or future plans.
I do hope the best for him, his health and his production.

A shave to compare:
As I expected, the 26mm Barber bulb shape has more backbone.
The Jewel is softer and has more luxurious tips.

A matter of taste.
