Picked up a small flat tub in a store at the Outlets in Tinton Falls NJ, exit 105 off the Parkway. Thought it was an ok shave, no lather however. Lot of tingle from the menthol and I paid less than 9.00 so I too was all tingleyTongue. Surprised to see a brush cream in a brick and mortar at the mall and wanted to try it. Not a keeper since the scent was like a wet hay and no lather-ability.

All they show on the Kiehl's site is a brushless shave cream. Could it be this that you purchased? That might explain the no lather aspect.

They used to have a cream that lathered with a brush, but that's been discontinued. I guess their brilliant marketing guys think our fingers are better than a brush! Winky

No, this says for the brush which is why I bit. A thin screw top pot. I would say good skin care but not a true brush lather cream.

I stopped at the store in the Mall of America. I have some samples but still haven't tried them out.

I asked them if they had a brush-lathered cream and the salesman said "no. We don't suggest the use of a brush because it's bad for your face to be exfoliated every day."

I didn't ask him how hard he thinks you have to press to make lather. Tongue

Translation: We don't have very much knowledge about Shaving, but our store manager tells us to pretend like we do!
