So, I was thinking about my shaving gear and I asked myself, as I am wont to do, which piece of shaving equipment would I replace with the exact same item if it were to be lost or ruined?
After looking over my shave shelf, I decided that I would replace my Semogue 620. Now, that may seem silly to a guy who owns some high end brushes and razors, but I thought, if my Chubby 3 is lost, I would me more inclined to try a different brush. But I just love my Semogue 620. It's broken in like a champ and the acrylic handle is attractive and ergonomic. Yes. That's the replacement. There are certainly other things I would replace with the same item, but for this thread, you can only name your first choice. Wink

Need to get one of these 620 brushes, I love that handle on my Semogue Texugo brush

I use that to prepare my loaded brush for face lathering. It is hollow inside and featherlight, fits into the palm of your hand. Costs about 3 USD

The first thing that came into my mind was the EverReady '24. Beyond that the list is too long as I suspect it will be for most gents.

My goodness, Primo! I couldn't even replace my Weber DLC if I lose it as they don't produced them, any longer, so I would be in grave danger!............Whew! What a relief I have some back-ups! Biggrin
My only other concern would be, aesthetically speaking for my photographs, my Oscar11 All-Amber brush handles! Angel
I could live without everything else if I really had to.

For me it would be my Plisson size 16 HMW brush. Many brushes have come and gone but this one has been with me for several years. I bought it sight unseen when Art of Shaving was closing out their Plisson brushes and I got it for a bargain price. When I first used it I knew I had found the best brush for me I would ever own. I have owned several great brushes but this one is at the top of the heap.

My R89 with my new Maggards M5 handle. Did not think it could get any better until I got that handle. Awesome razor set up!

I'm already doing this with my new-old Grosvenor LE 2-band super/silvertip that turned out to be a shedder. New knot coming from Mark, thank goodness.
