Of all the Artisan and name brand soaps I've tried, I still feel that I get my best shave with Proraso Green soap. I'm not sure why I even keep looking? I go back to the green tub, and have such a wonderful experience. It just seems to work for me. I like the scent, in fact I've picked up using the splash and the balm. They're all great performers for me.

I really wanted to hate this stuff when I first started. I mean, all the great Artisan stuff out there and this cheap little tub. I just LOVE it though. I wasn't to keen on the scent early on, but now it's very nice to me.

I like how it rinses so clean. I like how it cools my skin. I'm just not sure there is a better soap for me out there?

I looked back and noticed that most of my SOTD pics are Proraso.

What I'm trying to say, if there are any newbies on the fence, pick up a $10 tub of the green stuff and try it! It's quite nice. Of course, YMMV Biggrin

I don't work for, or have any interest in Proraso, I just love their product!

In my second month of DE shaving and I've been trying out some samples of artisan soaps. Very nice. But I went back to Proraso green and had a great (and invigorating) shave. It was a reminder of how good this is.

I hear you. It's the second cream I ever bought and after recently using again won't sell it no matter how small I shrink my rotation.

I just picked up the new green balm and look forward to trying soon

Prorasso green is the only cream that I kept, rest are all soaps. I'll always have a tube, I love the scent and the performance can hang with any soap out there.

It was the second tub I ever finished (right after T&H sandalwood). And first AS bottle I finished.

I must be a very small minority, then, Brian, as I just couldn't get on with it! Biggrin

Great to hear how much you love the stuff! You sound just like me regarding my favourite soap! Smile

Proraso Green was my first cream, and it always performs great. I still use the pre/post when I want to add menthol to any soap.
I may reach for artisans more now, but I can always count on Proraso for a great shave. It is a classic for a reason!

I loved my Proraso Green and then heard that C. O. Bigelow (from Bath & Body Shop) is the same stuff: it is! And it is almost always "buy two, get one free" for both the large and small tubes.  I keep a tube in the medicine chest and another in the Dopp kit.  You can see the "Made Exclusively by Proraso" under the G.

PS - It also reminds me of the smell and feel of the long-discontinued Noxzema medicated shave cream in the tube.  A blast from the past for me.  Don't leave home without it.

My tube of the pre-reformulation Proraso has lasted several years, and just as good now as when I first bought it. Love the scent and menthol goodness.

After experiencing 2 amazing shaves the past week with Proraso, I just ordered 5 backup tubes. Can't wait to use more often!
