Has anyone else noticed the site is very slow now? I'm getting connection resets (when trying to reply or PM or anything).

Ok, I was thinking it was something with my computer. But since others are noticing it and I'm not noticing it on other sites I'll say that I find it slow as well and only recently.

It's running faster here at my office than it was at my home even though my internet speed is faster at home. It kept acting like the page was hanging up and then it would finish loading it.

I'll see if it's still doing it when I get home tonight.

I've been having the same slowness issue on and off (mostly on). It's not computer related, as I've had it happen with several computers (and I use Linux mostly) and on several networks. For a while, I thought the site had gone down.

Do you want me to post my trace report as well Andrew? Would that help? When I look it up in the name server and use the IP Address it moves more smoothly.

Here ya go, not sure if it helps you

That's the issue. I thought the server was down a few times because the connection timed out. What was done when the server was down at the end of last month, because that's when it started acting up for me.

I know there have been a good amount of storms doing damage from the Mid West to the North East, that could have something to do with it as well. That's what I've been blaming it on.

there could be issues from the storms. I can't do any trace routes at work, so I can't test, but the site is loading fine for me right now. from home, though, when doing the trace route, it did time out at a few hops, so I guess there might be some problems.

I have noticed the site being slow only once, and it didn't last long. However, I have gotten messages that the server was down several times. I would immediately retry the page and all would work perfectly and up to speed. Strange.

I found it slow a day or two before I left for vacation. However, the site is now working very fast on my iPad here in Scotland so I assume all is back to normal.

Freddy, quit bragging about being in Scotland while we are all over here slaving away. :monoloco:

Hope you're having a good time and report back if you find any unique shaving kit out there. Will you be coming back wearing a kilt???

Actually, I found an unusual (to me) shave cream but what really got me was that The Real Shaving Co. Shaving cream in the tube was selling for as little as 79p in a discount shop all the way up to £4.59 in Boots, a major pharmacy chain in the U.K. That seemed like a huge price spread to me.

I did try on a kilt many years ago. Wink
