I guess if I were a collector and really wanted the original BBS-1 to fill a spot, I might consider paying a higher price, but nowhere near the prices being asked today. Given that the BBS-1 is hinted to be back into production as a second generation revised model, I just do not see the rationale of the outlandish prices being asked. I have an early numbered BBS-1 that was always intended as a gift to my son when a special event arose (which has, and he's never seen nor does he know I have the BBS-1, so he'll be surprised). Many thanks to John Brown of LASSCo whom was responsible in playing a major role in bringing the BBS-1 to fruition, and in turn, Wolfman Razors.

Although, if and when I buy mine I wouldn't sell it.  This is a fun hobby for me, not a business.

Someone just sold a BBS-1 on the auction site for $1275(plus $3.75 for shipping lol).

A couple weeks ago I took receipt of a Dual Comb in .86 gap.  After having used it a bit, I'm pretty certain this is the most efficient razor in my den.  I'll eventually do some side-by-side comparisons but it is more efficient than a Timeless 95 and just as smooth as a 74 gap.  It may come close to Timeless smooth.  The blade feel on the 86DC is impressive as is the closeness of the shave.  It's amazing how long my face stays stubble free.

Haha  Imagine if used 0,86, neither I, my children nor grandchildren would ever need shave again - presuming any skin remained....
