Thanks Dan - I had to google corking a blade, but found it - as it happens, I have some Timor blade from a sampler pack - I'll try that next, in addition to riding the cap more.
I actually did use OC for the 1st pass, then SB for the 2nd and touch-up - so pleased to have the dual comb.
Thanks again!
Ian

I know everyones face and beard is different but for me with the WR1 I find closer to neutral gives me the smoothest and closest shave.  take your time Ian and once you find that sweet spot for you the shave will be great.

For me Wolfman are the best shaving razor on the market today with incredible fit and finish. Just have to find which blade gap works best for you

I have 3 WR-1 OC in different gaps and there are other razors I have that shave just as well.

+ 1....WR2 is incredible.  Every bit as good as the BBS-1 and IMHO....better!

I’ve had the .95 WR2, 1.15 WR2 both DC SS and the 1.35/1.25 DC in Ti. Not a fan of the WR2 prefer the WR1 and the original BBS 1. I have several other razors in my collection that shave just as well as my Wolfman’s but none look as good. Timeless .95 Ti, RS10, Charcoal Goods, RR Gamechanger .84, Rocnel B&R adjustable Paradigm Ti V1, 17-4 and Blackland Jet all give me just as good of a shave.

Eventually, I hope to but I am experiencing irritation free BBS shaves with multiple razors so I can be patient.
