I don't know if anyone has had a chance to use this but a friend of mine sent me this and it is the best pre-shave I've ever used. Has anyone tried this?
It is really different compared to AOS for example but man is it pricey, anywhere between 20-31 dollars.

Tap water and face-lathering seems to do the trick for me and the water is free! Biggrin    Glad to hear the product is working for you!

I agree if I had to pay for this I would not have been using it. It's out of my range.

The price is a bit steep for me, also!

According to Wikipedia, it's the American version of Eau de Cologne, with a shift in emphasis towards sweet orange instead of lemon and neroli.

Its been around for years. Used to treat different ailments back in the day. Also used as an AS splash. Can be purchased in a number of places. I keep a bottle in my den.

Here is a couple links.

Well, I don't know what many of these things are, but I think I'll give it a try. I get a better shave when I use a pre-shave. Currently have Crown's, Castle Forbes, and good old Proraso in my rotation—and love 'em all (in that order).

I tried it, but with all oils I've tried didn't work too well for me. Seemed slick though.

I never really found a place for pre-shave products in my daily shave.  At most I'll use a hot towel first but that is pretty rare for me also.

Not to discourage anyone else from using them, each to their own as long as you enjoy each shave!!!
