If you came across a genie in a bottle who had the power to bring three discontinued products back from the dead, which products would you wish for? You can wish for either hardware or software.

My list (at least if I had to choose at this moment) would be:

1) Yardley shave soaps (in all the iterations)

2) Super Iridium DE Blades

3) Trumper Tallow Based Shave Soaps

What makes your list?

Of course there are many more than just three. But a starting list would be some Penhaligon's soaps:
Penhaligon's "Black" shaving soap
Penhaligon's Hammam Bouquet shaving soap
Penhaligon's Lords shaving soap

Hmm....a 1970's Schwinn Paramount.

Oh! You meant shaving stuff? Laughing1

I don't really miss anything, and I've been sitting on a 250 pack of the Iridiums for several years now - never even opened it.

EDIT: Could the genie bring back my physique from my 20's?

I cheated a bit on my picks by counting all Yardley soaps as one pick and all tallow Trumper soaps as a pick. You can do the same. Biggrin

I'd wish for Old Spice Soap to come back
The Yardleys as well (as much as I like the Bath Soap, I can't imagine how wonderful the shave soap is)
I guess Personna 74's since I've never tried them and they appear to be magical

I have not had the pleasure of trying the vintage Floris soaps but have heard great things about them.

3. Old Spice commercials from the 70's & 80's (loved that catchy little whistle tune that played as the sailor dropped his duffle bag and kissed the girl!)

I've still got an early 80's Schwinn Paramount built not far from here in Schwinn's Waterford Wisconsin Shop.Rode it up that way one time with no real destination in mind and stumbled across the place.I knocked on the door and was treated to a tour and got to meet the guy who built my frame.

Phil et al, you can still get the Super Iridiums!
The quality of the older DE blades!

You can but they are NOS and not in production. I have about 800 Iridiums and about 600 Polsilver blades. I also have a cache of the Schick Plus Platinum blades so I should be ok for awhile. I should set aside a few thousand Gillette Yellows just to be safe. Cool
