Phil said exactly what I was thinking.

Also, I would argue that it doesn't save any water. If Budweiser wanted to make the argument that it saves oil, I would buy it.

The water that goes down the drain isn't lost into a void of nothingness. Whether your house is on septic or city sanitation it is recaptured in the system somewhere else. Hell you could shave with water out of a bucket and leave it to evaporate out of the bucket and it still isn't lost in the world system. So if they make the argument that it takes oil or other resources to clean the water again before discharge then I would agree with them.

How many gallons would be saved for a day if they stopped brewing for 24 hours? C'mon Budweiser put your money where your mouth is.

I didn't even click on the link but from the comments it sounds like they are wanting us to conserve water. Water is the only drink we SHOULD consume so are they next going to tell us that we should also stop drinking the only beverage we actually NEED?

one shave uses 5 gallons of water? I must be doing it wrong because I haven't needed a SCUBA suit.

Great, here comes my SCUBAAD.

I found that very hard to believe also. I think most men fill the sink with water then plug it. There is no way were using 5 gallons if doing that.

I though Budweiser was water (cue the making-love-in-a-canoe joke)...

There is a need on a world wide basis to conserve potable water - however those of us who live in first world nations don't really help those unfortunates in Africa or other third world nations by using less water. No amount of not-shaving I do will make a working borehole magically appear in Ombasi village (located in Ombasi Boma, Yei County in Central Equatoria State, South Sudan) nor fix the only bridge leading to that village which was in dire need of repairs when I visited...

Budweiser is jumping on this bandwagon for one reason only - to get their name connected to a decent case.

Just to stick it to Budweiser I shaved twice today, took 2 showers, and have the water in the bathroom running right now. I'll turn it off in an hour or so.
