Softer than Simpson's Manchurian.  I really enjoy the knots, the handle shapes are what's not to my liking.

Sorry to derail your thread, but does Romera use commercially available knots or do they make their own knots?

I am not sure where he sources is knots.  They are really nice knots though.  I haven't encountered anything else quite like them from other vendors with the brushes I have tried.

If you go to the Artisan Forum, Gustavo has some threads. The L.E. 2nd Anniversary Artesania Romera Buffalo Horn Marbled Thread talks about the Knots clearing customs and a photo of the knots on the 12-22-2014 post.
