I woke up this morning and saw this:

Apparently, my 4 year-old daughter broke it yesterday, while I was at work. Didn't notice it until this morning.

It looks like a clean break, so I think some superglue will fix it.

Sorry to see that, love the bowl.

My son broke an EJ lather bowl when he was three.  Either that or it was my wife.

What a shame, but when your 4 years old…. Looks fixable though.

You can actually get some adhesive at Lowes & Home Depot for ceramic for just a few dollars. Used it for mine and it worked like a charm!

Well, at least your 4 year old didn't get into the razor blade tucks or a straight razor.

My four year old knows she can't ever do this if she breaks my shave gear.[Image: 742d975492968d79240ccc709869b0a4.jpg]

Ha, Ha! Very cute!

My daughter knows not to get close to the razors (especially the straights), but the bowl was on the counter, so it was pretty easy to break without meaning to.

One of the English scuttles  sent to me was broken at the  handle.
I glued it with Uhu endfest, a 2 Compound epoxy type. Care had to be taken for the parts to stay put. The Uhu recommends hardening at higher temperatures, so I put it in the oven at 50 degree Celsius.
So far no apparent weakness

A couple of years ago when my daughter was two, she somehow got hold of my watch and basically spent some time "Sanding" the kitchen floor tiles with its face. The glass was so ruined you couldn't even see through it at all and the bevel was scratched too. Wasn't a cheap one either!

Have a big fear of any of my children getting hold of my razors, so they are stored very high up on top of bathroom cabinet!!!

Bless them!!!

You don't need a 4-year-old to break your shaving equipment.  I broke a very nice apothecary mug all by myself shortly after I got it. Blush

Aww cute kid!

I shall pour a little "veg" in the sink after my next shave in memory of your broken bowl "this is for the fallen" - ha ha - seriously though, good luck with the repair.
