My first acquisition is one of the best, as it was hand-made and a gift from a fellow member, LookingGlass (Ed). After selling him a Briar Rustic Chubby, I admired the brush stand that he made for it, and he graciously made another for me. How sweet is that!

I was fortunate to find an NOS 7/8 Heljestrand MK No. 133, but did not like the ugly and ill-fitting plastic scales, so my Helje took a brief trip to visit Max Sprecher in Las Vegas, and returned with beautiful Black Paper Micarta scales. Now my dream razor not only shaves like a dream, but looks the part.

This beauty showed up yesterday. Shaved with it and a joy to use. A lot smoother than the 37c. Although I've had the 37c for only a week, I got numerous weepers. The shave with the RR SS SS was completely opposite. Its also a hefty 136g and also my first Stainless steel DE razor.

Received my Ikon DLC 5-piece set. Supposed to be 'blemished' but I can't find anything wrong with them!
