got an email from weber today stating this:

"We are currently only producing the handles. You can follow us on
Twitter for new product announcements and special offers."

so it seems for now there are no more weber full razors or heads.

Well, I can't say I am surprised. Firstly, Ed stopped producing the DLC, then the ARC, now the PH. I think it was only a matter of time with the number of complaints from folks with the issue of the 'wavy' bottom plate, I presume. What a great shame as those were the best value for a stainless steel DE razor I have seen, to date. They are surely going to be missed!

Wow, to bad. I am glad I was able to pick one up. I can imagine that they will be very hard to find very soon.

This is pure conjecture, but it's possible that they're trying to source new vendors to manufacture their heads, and that they will be available at some point in the future.  Aside from a small percentage of QC problems with some heads having wavy blade gaps, my impression is that the Weber heads are highly regarded by many.

Such a shame. I have a bulldog razor and ordered a wave handle that came in early January.

My son in law liked my bulldog and he attempted to get one on Saturday.  No go. Darn.
I sent an e-mail to Barb and got the same response as everyone else here.  This is really such a pity because I like their razor and have been telling a couple of friends about this American made razor.

Barb said to check Twitter for announcements.  I hope that was her attempt to say "wait, please".

Perhaps Weber will surprise us all by coming out with some new head designs and/or bringing back the much admired DLC head.

...............is there a reason for not producing a product that folks want to purchase??    .......... was there a problem with the DLC head??

Hopefully, they are just sourcing a new company to make the heads for them.

The two I have are nice shavers.  It would be a shame to see them disappear from the market.

Fortuitous timing on my part, I guess. I must have gotten one of the last ones. I was wondering why they weren't selling heads separately, perhaps this is one of the reasons why.

I've heard about the QC issues in the past, perhaps Weber got tired of handling returns - and I'm guessing that wasn't cheap on their part, they may well have had to eat the cost which would have given them negative profit margins.

The handles are nice enough but pretty close to other bulldog handles on the market now. It seems everyone and their mother is making bulldog handles.

This will never happen as the coating was just too hard to keep consistent for each batch and too costly as I was told by Ed.

DLC has a very good reputation in the knife industry. For me, if there was a Weber razor on offer, and given what I know now, I´d buy it.

I'm glad I have my weber DLC and ph. Not letting them go anytime soon. For me, the weber DLC is the best. Very well built razors. Not sure about qc issues...never heard of any with weber. It's a shame if they stop production.
