I personally like the red tip. I like the added weight & aggressiveness. I would like to get my hands on a British red tip rocket though. They're supposedly even more aggressive.

Nice chronology of the SS. I have tried them all, and I still prefer the 40's style. I can get a great shave with any of them though, but I fully understand the love for the Red Tip. I have a very light beard, so aggressiveness is not something that I need.

I note in your photo that there are some other razors hiding above the row of SS's. Care to share what those might be? Looks like you may have a pretty serious case of RAD (Razor Acquisition Disease).  Biggrin As a fellow sufferer, I can empathize!

Thanks for the post.

I have had them all and am down to a Red Tip, a '58 TV, and a '47 SS (not my favorite but a birth year razor  Shocked).  The others are good razors but I did not need that many SSs laying around.

I will be anxious to see that in operation. If you get many more razors, you may wish to consider motorizing it!

My SE razors are boxed up at the moment (no room) other than the Mongoose on the bottom left of the display case.

Well, I am certainly impressed. That's an amazing collection. I wouldn't know what to pick for the morning shave. There are just too many great choices. Thanks for posting the photos.

Great collection, I just shaved with the shavecraft 102 this  morning. It was a DFS with only one pass.
