This razor had quite a few scratches in all the wrong places on the face. I got them out and the blade looks fine. Since there were bevels cut into the spine I decided to add a bevel to the translucent horn scales as well to compliment them. The warm color also accents the gold wash on the blade. The bevel on the scales is tricky to keep crisp while at the same time getting it polished. And any glitch along the way sticks out like a sore thumb. I also got the blade to sit deeply in the scales where the curve matches the spine allowing the two to play off each other.
Stacked washers holds the white wedge in place.

Love that horn. The pronounced bevel really sets it off. Beautiful razor!
