I received mine this week and its great to use. The added weight makes it very easy to use.

Still in stock, but a bit hard to justify when you've just bought a Weber, an ATT, and a Feather Angel

Jerry, still available. So either a large inventory or perhaps limited interest.

Balaji, Very good to know as I have placed an order as well.

Having owned the RR Stealth Stainless DLC and also the V3 aluminum model, I found the stainless steel stealth to be way too heavy. For the design of this slant, I find that aluminum is best.

They have been on sale off and  for the past week. Joe sells them in small batches to give everybody a chance but never says when they will go on sale.

Roopesh, I don't think you will be disappointed. Before purchasing the RR SSSS, I got my merkur 37c a week before. It was very inefficient for my tough stubble causing a lot of weepers. This razor was whole other story and amazed.

Maybe I'm not paying attention (pretty likely) but have the aluminum models gone on sale recently or still being produced?  I had one of the SS versions and I also found that thing to be massively heavy for me, but I've always liked the design.

I am looking forward to both versions, if I ever will be able to get them.
my shave this morning was with a old razor that might have been the original razor, with a  feather blade.  It felt not like shaving but secure and efficient, like tearing off a wall paper of whiskers!

The Aluminum shaves leaps and bounds better for me as well as a buddy who I let try the DLC.

The SS/DLC is too heavy and awkward for me. The Aluminum is a dream to shave with and easy to maneuver

I am glad posting this "heads up" helped some order theirs. I was merely passing the good news on.

I also have a DLC SS but haven't used it yet as it was shipped to a friend and I will be picking it up only next month. I have not heard about the Aluminium versions going on sale recently. Interesting how some like the Aluminium versions quite a bit but for a few others it was too mild and light. YMMV!

Joe told me that he is no longer producing the Aluminum version as he was not happy with it and was only going to sell the Stainless Steel version, unfortunately, as I would have preferred the lighter version.

That's a bummer.  I don't know many that preferred the Stainless to the Aluminum.

Well, I can only hope he changes his mind, but it is highly doubtful. I would have loved to try the Aluminum one as I can see the stainless steel version being overly heavy for me as I am preferring much lighter shavers, now!  Smile
