I was just thinking about scents that I enjoy and am wondering if there is a soap/cream out there that smells like fresh cut grass? Not sure if anyone else enjoys this smell but I feel like it could be an interesting scent.

I love the smell. I think Mamabear had a scent like that. Not sure if she still does. There are several artisans that will do custom scents. Give Amanda at Tiki soaps a shout. She should be able to help you.

Jovan made a cologne back in the 70's  called "Grass Oil" somewhat like that.

Saint Charles Shave does a "Fairway" scent or something golf-related.  It's really spot-on for a fresh-cut grass scent.

MDC fougère (FRA) has a fresh cut grass scent, Valobra Fougère (ITA) too... and if you search something like cut hay, you can take a look on B&M Roam (USA), but this last is a very particular scent (mix of smoke, cut hay, extinct camp fire).

A number of people I know thought that TOBS Avocado SC smelled like fresh cut grass.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Musgo Real. For the longest time it was synonymous with "fresh cut grass." I believe it is a vetiver (earthy) scent but with a fougere brightness and just a tiny hint of menthol.

Y'all are forgetting 2 of the powerhouses.

B&M Petrichor
Caties Bubbles LTV

These 2 soaps have a more "natural" type lather that SCS, but they may be harder to get than the SCS soaps.

The two that I immediately thought of have already been mentioned, but I want to mention them again for emphasis. One is a soap, the other is a cream.

The soap is "Fairway" by Saint Charles Shave. The scent of this soap is actually the green tops of carrots. So if you want to know what it smells like, go to your local grocery store to the produce section, pick up the carrots that still have the greenery attached, and give it a good whiff. Maybe scratch a couple of the leaves to really get the idea. It's not actually fresh-cut grass but it is a remarkable approximation.

The second is TOBS Avocado cream. Don't let the name fool you. it's called "Avocado" because it has avocado oil in it, which makes it better for your skin; avocado oil doesn't smell like avocados. The cream smells almost exactly like fresh-cut grass, if you imagine you just cut a lawn that has a row of flowering bushes on one side (in other words, there is al ight floral scent behind the "grass" scent. But it really reminds me of fresh-cut grass.

Of the two, I'd recommend Fairway. Really a nice product.

Thanks everyone. I've smelled TOBS Avocado before and although I'm probably going to buy it soon, I didn't get the fresh cut grass scent from it. Gonna keep looking at Fairway and also Musgo real.

Not to sound like a fanboy or anything, but.  SCS Fairway.  It's very close to fresh cut grass, yet not exact.  The scent and performance are very good.  I got the AS in matching scent as well and tend to use the combo for several shaves, until I force myself to change things up.  It really is a fantastic scent.

FYI.  If you just want the soap, then order the Shave Soap Scent of the Month and add a note to Wendy that you want the Fairway scent

Best of luck in your search.

Not to beat a dead horse, but if you want to know if you'll like Fairway or not, go smell the green tops of carrots.

By the way, I'm not just saying that the green tops of carrots smell like Fairway soap; I'm telling you that Fairway soap is scented with scent oils from the green tops of carrots. So it's not an approximation, it's what the scent actually is.

By the way, I think the scent is fantastic.

Al's has two "grassy" products. Saigon is probably the closest to fresh cut grass with just a touch of lemon, and Palermo, which begins with a grassy, sweet scent, and ends with a more herbaceous green scent. Both are terrific products.
