Does XPEC have the almond scent like other Italian soaps?

Not at all, IMO, Johnny.

XPEC Original has predominant notes of a classic masculine fragrance : woodsy tones, citrus, spice, etc.

It's bold in a good way .. Smile

Thanks Ravi. Now you and Phil are going to cost me more money. Now, do I want the gel or the balm. Decisions, decisions, decisions. Undecided

I need to look into these products. I'm all about scent profiles like that.

Oh, that helps a bunch. Huh I wonder if the balm and the gel have the same scent. I know the gel is suppose to smell just like the soap.

The AS gel definitely smells like the soap and from what Ravi told me, so does the balm. The gel performance is excellent and a little goes a long way. It has a similar consistency to the Baume.be pre shave gel, which I think you have, so the coverage is quite good. Perhaps balm for the really cold days and gel for the not so cold ones  Tongue

Guys, I see that you guys bought balm and gel and not the cream? Any feedback on cream? Is it over priced or not good performance for you?

We purchased shaving cream AND balm or gel.

There is a thread about this cream .. with differing opinions about the new formulation .. I think the new cream is excellent.

I have alway enjoyed XPEC cream, including the new one, but I've never tried the balm. Thanks guys, it didn't take long for my new found restraint to go out the window on the most expensive balm that I'll own.

I am intrigued, but am a bit hesitant because of the high cost. How about some more satisfied users commenting on why I should part with another $140 of my $$?
