Has it become pretty much obsolete?. When were they even in stock at Classic Shaving?. I know some may say they are no longer needed, but I imagine some out there still love theirs.

I believe the last time Classic Shaving had the Cobra Classic and King Cobra in stock was June/July 2014.

There is undoubtedly still demand for these razors .. Classic just hasn't been able to meet it .. at all.

I'm so glad I managed to get my mitts on a cobra. It's fantastic. Great fit for me and a lovely alternative to my straights.

No idea why Classic Shaving don't produce anymore.

The Cobra is a fantastic razor - amazing performance, very neat form factor; the same can be said about the King Cobra. It seems like a no-brainer that when you are selling hotcakes, you should figure out a way to more quickly sell more hotcakes until you reach a price/quality/demand equilibrium.

I've owned a Cobra, experienced a King Cobra and now own a Mongoose. For me, I prefer the Mongoose's "DE-similar" form factor over the "injector-similar" form factor of the Cobra. A small part of me regrets selling my Cobra but oh well.

My theory is Classic Shaving changed shops in mid-stream not being happy with the original company and that is why it's taken so long to stock up.

I think the Mongoose has affected the Cobra market. It's considerably cheaper and most people that have one love it. Not attacking the Cobra, just a theory.

Both are excellent .. each with their own fan base .. Cobra would be more competition if Classic could maintain supply and quality ..

Agreed. Classic created a space in the razor business that they had 100% market share in, then seemingly allowed it to go away by not maintaining supply lines.

The Cobra classic is by far my favourite razor, it's thin head allow me to shave easilly each parts of my face, where the mongoose have some problem (in my case) because of it's larger head.
I was so worried no more Cobras were produce that I bought a second one in case of any problem with the first.

I bet that those Cobra razors will be one of the most sought razor in a couple of years, better buy one now if you can.

The ones that where available some days ago in the UK (both Classic and King version) sold out in a instant. I had one about 2 years ago but sold it, now have a mongoose. Cobra is too expensive imho.

Expensive yes, but I can't imagine my den without it.

If no more were produce, and I think no more will, this razor will become a myth

I have tried all three, Cobra Classic, King Cobra and Mongoose.  And like everything in wet shaving, which one is best depends on the user.  But as far as I am concerned, the CC is the finest shaving instrument ever made.  The other two don't come close.

Cobra is a fine razor. I own one as well as a mongoose. Both are different. I like the lighter weight of the cobra and the slimmer head. However I don't like the material or the finish! The mongoose seems and feels superior to the cobra in your hands. I feel like I can use it for the next 60 years with no problem. I feel the cobra wall last me 5-10 years maximum (some people reported it lasting a quarter of that time) which Is a major flow in my opinion
