Hi Guys,

I bought a Lentheric puck with the bakelite bowl and was looking last night for ingredients on the web.

Does anyone have an idea or know what is in the soap? I am partially curious if it will show any fragrance clues to what it used to smell like when it was new.

Thanks

Zac

Sorry I can't help with the ingredients but I would love to see a photo if you can.

Wow Zac, you've put a serious dent in those!  Well done!  I don't think you will find an ingredients list for the Lentheric as it was made in a time when ingredients listing wasn't required.

These in the picture look like they have been used a ton because the height of a new puck offers some space without everything flying off the sides. Those soaps are both totally new in the picture. I took the Yardley for a spin today and liked it. Great tallow soap but was very thirsty. It was kind of fishy in the smell. The Lentheric does have more of a scent and remember the test lather months back was phenomenal and took TONS of water and was very nice.

I really dig the bakelite bowl and bought a couple more on ebay. Anyone have any experience with different vintage soaps? My buddy agrees and says he always gets great shaves with his puck of vintage Yardley and I also think he has 2 of the AS splashes.
