Don't worry about a bent tooth.  It won't impact the shave.

Agreed! The Bent tooth will not be a problem. The Tech cap will work fine with it too.

Don't try to bend that tooth back unless you have a heat gun and a desire to damage the finish. If you try to bend it cold, it will probably snap.

Looks fine usable to me and you won't have any issues with the bent tooth. Enjoy!  Smile

NEW Short comb made after 1932 since it has all the US patent numbers on it.

There is a bent tooth, but as others mentioned it shouldn't be an issue.

It looks like it just need a good cleaning.  I personally use hot water (not boiling) and some Dawn dish soap.  I let it soak overnight, and then take a tooth brush and some Scrubbing Bubbles to get the remaining soap scum.  I finish off with some Flitz polish.

It is a short comb NEW blade guard, post-merger (reissue patent #).  Your Tech cap and almost any handle will fit in that opening.  You will create your own Frankenrazor and it will be wonderful and all yours.  Happy shaves!
