This arrived today from the UK; hefty at 69.5g and a bigger, more solid-feeling handle than I thought it would be. Feels great in the palm; ergonomics superb. Took a bit of cleaning, but came up lovely. Mottled butterscotch, probably been standing in the one spot for years, but it's full of character. I think the handle is a wonderful sculptural piece. Pure bristle, blonde -- my favourite type of boar -- gentlemen prefer blondes. Smile Date unknown as yet. The earliest reference I have come across is 1949.

Beautiful handle...my wife actually worked at the Culmak factory in Woodbridge England.  I bought a Culmak (never used) a few years ago just like what she used to put together...I treasure it.
