I'm just trying to add a few more vegetables in the weekly rotation. I saw this from Alton Brown. I think I'll give it a go. I just can't buy the store bought soups anymore.

The good lady wife has made a few vegetable soaps, all have turned out good to excellent!

Definitely a lot! more flavorful and filling than any store bought soup...

We like to use extra large hollowed out sourdough rolls (made extra crispy by cooking them in the oven for a short while) as soup bowls Hambre

Here it is. Turned out pretty good. A nice flavorful soup. I used turnips instead of taters. I also caramelized some shredded Brussels sprouts.
